Anthonie's Market Grill

9108 FM 1489 Simonton TX 77441 281-533-9134

Anthonie's Market Grill is a place that truly believes in the power of the overall experience. They have one of the most beautiful dining rooms, and feature one of the most relaxed dining experiences that can be found in the area. Enjoy some of the finest rotisserie chicken you've ever tasted (we mean this, really), or if you prefer red meat, enjoy the tenderest, juiciest prime rib you've ever met. This is saying quite a lot, as we have tasted some good prime ribs in our day. Really though, we've never met a meal here that we didn't like. It's just that solid of a place!

Ropers Country Store & Cafe

31014 FM 1096 Simonton TX 77476 281-533-0585

Yes, they have a country store. However, we're not here to tell you about how cool that is (because, yes it is cool). We'd like to share with you just how tasty the food in their cafe is! As many who have stopped in here before and after their renovation, this is simply an establishment that reflects the awesome people of the area. It's friendly. It's relaxed. And the food here is well above average! If you would like to try some real country cooking, give their Chicken Fried Steak a try. It's a ginormous portion, and even bigger on taste!

Essence House Cafe

8506 FM 359 RD S Fulshear TX 77441 281-533-0255

As some of the locals will tell you, this is a small cafe that has no problem serving up some of the biggest flavor in the county! You'll find that they tend to be busiest on Saturday mornings which, is no surprise since they really offer some of the best coffee house breakfast foods around. They also serve up some mean sandwiches, so don't pass it by if you have a hankering for something other than a traditional breakfast type meal. The coffee is superb, and the staff always seems to find a way to attend to your needs with the quickness!

The Cafe at Brookwood

1502 FM 1489 Brookshire TX 77423 281-375-2400

This is one of the more unique restaurants you'll find... Probably in the entire country. It was started with a mission. A mission about a woman who started the restaurant to help her disabled child. It has become a charitable locale which strives to help residents and disabled folks who are looking to break into the hospitality field. On top of that, the food is utterly delicious. We've never had a problem eating every last tasty morsel of the goodness they serve. After you dine, be sure to check out their lush gardens! This place really is a treat in all ways!
